Most of our programs are conducted in normal groups of 10 students.
If you prefer individual attention, 1-1 lessons which caters to your needs could also be arranged at competitive rates. Simply call us to find out more about how our individual lesson works.
Besides our normal group lessons and individual lessons, we also run premium group lessons of max. 4 students per class. You can also form your own premium groups of 2/3/4 to enjoy more flexibility and achieve higher efficiency.
CCO, TPR, COP, PM/E or Individual / Premium Group? Which Program Should I Choose for My Child?
Starting from P2, we separate our All-in-One Program into two programs: CCO & TPR in order to cover effective revision for all components required in school Chinese exams. Some parents are not so sure which program is more suitable for the child. Below is some basic info on the different types of lessons we offer.
CCO stands for Composition, Comprehension & Oral Skills. It is a 2hrs weekly group lesson which consists of 1.5hrs composition writing or oral practice and half an hour comprehension skills. Many children need help in these three aspects because current school curriculum spends less time on them but the weightage of these three components in Chinese exams is quite high (more than 60%).
TPR stands for Textbook & Paper II Revision class to be conducted in groups. It is a 1.5hr weekly lesson which follows school textbook to do weekly revision. Students will get weekly practice paper following every unit from the textbook, mini-test and SA. Altogether there are 20 sets of paper for every 2 terms / 20 lessons.
COP stands for Composition, Oral & Paper 2. It is a comprehensive 3hrs weekly group lesson which consists of 1.5hrs composition writing or oral practice plus 1.5hrs Paper 2 practice. Hence, it is a combined program of CO and TPR which covers everything required in school Chinese exam.
PM/E stands for Paper Marking with/without Explanation. This is an Enrichment Program to be conducted in a free & easy way. During the whole semester (2 terms / 20 weeks), students only need to come 10 sessions, to finish the 10 sets of paper following school textbook unit in SA format. The explanation of mistakes is done on 1-1 basis, similar to individual lesson. However, if you choose the option "without explanation", your child is no need to be present in our centre, you can deliver the completed paper for us to do detailed marking so that you are able to explain to your child by yourself.
Individual lessons and Premium Group lessons of max. 4 students can also be arranged if you think none of our normal group lessons are suitable for your child. Lessons can be tailored to your specific needs at reasonable price as well.
